A great restoration project, this 1959 Chris Craft 30’ skiff is rare in the sense that Chris Craft built a lot of 22-30’ skiffs with single engine power, but not so many twins due to the added expense. This boat was built in Salsbury, Maryland and was shipped to the fresh waters of the Midwest where it spent most of it’s life (48 years). Frosty Waters returned to the east coast in the late seventy’s to the Forked River, N.J. area. I took ownership around 1980 in Forked River where I owned a marina on the brackish waters of the river, a great place for a wooden boat. The old flathead engines I removed along with the old transmissions, as it became increasingly difficult to get parts.
