Description
THIS IMMACULATE, FULLY RESTORED, 100% TURNKEY, READY TO CRUISE AND LIVABOARD, CLASSIC 1952 CHRIS CRAFT BUCCANEER IS FOR SALE. This classic has just finished a complete 2 year restoration. It is probably the finest 1952 Chris Craft 47 Foot Buccaneer in the world. It also has optional flying bridge solid hardtop. This model was only produced in Algonac, Michigan for 2 years, 1951 & 1952. The Buccaneer is a very rare and highly sought after model. Hull number 47 delivered on July 16, 1952 and costing approximately $35,000.00. The hull number is C-47-047. The interior is as new completely stripped of old finishes and restored from the bottom up with numerous coats of Flagship varnish. The captains quarters sports a full queen Simmons Beautyrest mattress, the galley has new Whirlpool Stainless Steel appliances including 18cu.ft. Refrigerator with icemaker, large microwave/convection oven, 4 burner gas stove with oven, Range hood with fan/light. Double stainless steel sink and Accent lighting galore. A new teak deck was installed over fiberglass eliminating any deck seam leakage forever. This boat has no leaks anywhere in a rain storm. The bottom/hull of the boat has never been fiberglassed over. It is double planked mahogany and does not leak at all and refastened in 1994 consuming 7000 silicone bronze fasteners and recaulked with cotton calk and 3M 5200 in all seams. The boat is solid mahogany except the solid teak deck and teak swim platform. In 1961 it was repowered with 2 matched set Gray marine Buick V-8 gas 401 cu. in. engines with velvet drive transmissions. Recently overhauled with only less than 100 hours, the engines run fine and have a great deal of power at 325HP each. The custom built-in sofa in the salon is pearl white leather with marine grade upholstery pastels pattern. I have owned this vessel since December 1993 and have maintained and lived aboard ever since. call me and we can talk about it.
