Description

In 1972, my father who is deceased now, traveled to Scotland and while there fell in love with a particular type of wooden row boat that was common there and hand crafted by a now long since gone boat builder. The boat is solid mahogany, teak, bronze rivets and was so beautifully done that it wound up residing in my fathers garage ever since. As far as I know, this boat may have seen water 2 or 3 times in 38 years. He had a custom black cover made for it, the oars are custom flared on the ends, and the transom of course is suited for an outboard but never had one. Long story short, the boat needs a new home and the reason I'm contacting Chris Craft enthusiasts is because this boat may in fact be an excellent addition to a larger vessel as a lifeboat considering the outstanding craftsmanship, finish and style. Take a look, let us know. The boat cost almost 5k in 1972 so we would appreciate serious inquiries only.
