Description
Very rare early 1941 ,with bear claw vents.
Just completed after 3 year full restoration.
Fully documented and done to highest standards.
New or rebuilt every last detail, down to the
correct staples. This boat was never intended to
be sold, it was to be my personal boat. I just
got
carried away, and now need to face reality. The
boat deserves the best, and got it. All the
correct suppliers were used. Graves plating,
Rhode
Island Wiring, etc.. New 5200 new bottom
and frames. Re fastened orig sides, dutchman and
all to keep some of her history. Rebuilt gages,
12 coats varnish. New covering boards and decks
to
correct 1/32 groove. Not ONE, phillips head screw
in the entire boat, and there are thousands of
them... Money was no object. Doing it correct
was. Boat restoration featured on WoodyBoater.com
as owners boat. She has been in the water once
for
a test. Leather Interior by Rod Souza still being
done. That's how fresh this boat is. Advice from
Don Ayers, and the Chris Craft Club. If you are
looking for this years newest restoration
done, this is it. Still needs tiny details correct
screw size in chrome that sort of thing to be a
Tahoe winner. Shown at Mt Dora NOT JUDGED, and
signed by Chris Smith on dash. I am also open to
interesting trades of lesser value with cash. So
this may be a great opportunity to trade up. I am
very interested in a 46-49 20 foot Chris Craft
Custom.
