Radical heart surgery stopped this renovation.I have owned the Valiant Lady for 30 years.She has been repowered with Chrysler Hemis low 700 hours.All new 12 volt and 110 circuit breaker panels.All wood work professionaly done.New mahogany upper windshield,lower windshield at front of salon,transom corners , frame and face boards.Hull is double planked mahogany .In 2006 replaced starboard plank. Port side aft needs some repair .Thats when i got sick .New Coast Guard approved fuel filter system and fuel lines from gas tanks to engines.Rudders replaced with over sized rudder shafts for strenth. New rudder ports, mechanical steering.Forward deck and salon roof are fiberglass.She has a forward stateroom with a hidden head.Her galley is open to the salon. The salon has a panoramic view that's extrodinary.The aft state room has a queen size bed, and stand up head and seperate shower.Astern of aft cabin lies a hatch that leads to a lazerette deck .Top side is a captains deck forward is the helm and lots of space for seating or lounging.The aft state room needs reassembly.Only 7 Buckaneers were built in 1951 this is a rare breed.I found only 2 online one was asking $325,000. and the other $250,000.Both are completed and beautiful.Other boaters applaud and cheer as she passes under way.I can't finish her someone needs to pick up the task and enjoy this rare beauty.
